Misdeed of the Day

So here’s a new regular feature as I have a two-year-old and a soon to be one-year-old; “Misdeed of the Day”.

Today’s misdeed, courtesy, as usual, per Violet.

I gave Violet her dinner, then put some shredded cheese on Hazel’s highchair tray, and then ran downstairs to feed the rabbits and the dog. When I came back, Vi had pushed a chair up to the counter, gotten a butter knife and packed butter on it, and then had gotten down and was using it as a sort of sticky wand to reach up and gather up all of the cheese shreds from Hazel’s tray.

“MMmmmmmmmmm. Butter. I lick it,” she said.

Nice one.

  1. Jack says:

As if there were any doubt, the love of dairy products clarifies that she, indeed, is my daughter. (Mmmh, clarified butter.)

  2. LaLA says:

HAHAHA. I’d say she got that mischievousness from me but I don’t think we’ve hung out enough.

  3. Ah yes, butter & toddlers, it’s a family tradition. When I was about her age, I pulled a stick of butter off of a table or counter and did some really awesome fingerprinting! I can’t clearly recall this but you can ask mom!!
