So the “Family Room” was sold to us as a weird third bedroom off the kitchen. It made no sense. Here’s what it used to look like, and the final product. Jack built out the fireplace and ripped out the cheesy Ikea closet that the people tacked onto the wall. He even did the tiling work around the fireplace. I think it turned out great. I think these photos are a little dark, but you can see the dramatic turnaround I think.
